Tartans Place First in Division 2 in California and the Nation in 2013 TEAMS Engineering Competition

A team of eight St. Margaret’s students placed first in Division 2 in California and in the nation, and third overall in California in the 2013 TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science) engineering competition. The team solved complex mathematical problems and provided answers to cyber security questions related to this year’s competition theme: “Engineering A Secure Cyberspace.”
The team, including freshmen Andrew Klement and Grant Russell, and sophomores Greg Justice, Ashley Kang, Annika Krafcik, Lance Lew, Liam McGregor and Ben Wang, prepared in the fall for the one-day TEAMS …
