When the St. Margaret’s Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) organizes a fund-raiser, the purpose is first and foremost to raise money to support our school and its wonderful programs. The opportunity it provides, however, to come together as a school community in a relaxed environment and enjoy time with our friends, is as important as the dollars we raise. Holly Larsen, St. Margaret’s PTF President, feels that this event met those goals: “This was a lovely way to bring our community together to support the school. It would be wonderful to see this become an annual tradition!”

The monthly deadline is coming to add or change your lunch orders for next month. Here are some important Hot Lunch facts, and some information about how to place an order online.
HOT LUNCH FACTS

The 15th is the last day to add or change your lunch order for the following month.
Your current lunch order will automatically carry forward – no action is required.
Your hot lunch menu choices will be billed through your student’s account.
Hot lunch is only served to students in grades 1 through 12.

Tartan Faire presale envelopes have already been sent home with Lower School and Middle School students and were due this week. Prepurchased wristbands for attractions and meals will be returned back to your student’s teacher/advisor by next Thursday via presale envelopes. You may also purchase tickets in advance from 7:50 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in the Preschool lobby Thursday, October 22–Thursday, October 29. Upper School students may purchase tickets in advance from Lora Allison. Tickets will also be sold on the day of the event.

The first PTF General Membership Meeting of the 2009–2010 school year, held on September 24 in the Tartan Center, kicked off the exciting and educational year ahead for the PTF with a new meeting structure that included several speakers, breakfast and a welcoming ambiance.
