Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Brings Church and School Community Together to Officially Start the Christmas Season

Following St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church Advent dinner, prepared by The Reverend Canon Robert Edwards, the Christmas season officially began with the Fifth Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. School and Church families gathered together in the Fountain Courtyard on Sunday, December 4 for the annual tradition that had everyone chatting, sipping hot cocoa and munching on homemade cookies as they waited for the countdown to light the 20-foot towering Christmas tree. Making Faces, Climbing Walls, Chowing Down at the Tartan Faire

Red and white tent canopies on the green expanse of Gateway Field signaled the annual Tartan Faire celebration of fall at St. Margaret’s. An October tradition that follows the Lower School Halloween Parade each year, the highly successful October 28 carnival brought the entire St. Margaret’s community together for a day of fun and fellowship.
