Hurlbut Theater Curtain Rose to a Sold-Out Crowd for its Inaugural Student Performance

A long-awaited moment in the history of the school took place last Friday as the curtain rose for the inaugural opening night performance in the Marcus D. Hurlbut Theater of the Performing Arts Center. Seventy-three students from three divisions of the school performed The Sound of Music to a sold-out crowd of 450 officially opening a new era of performing arts at St. Margaret’s.

Tickets on Sale for Middle School Play “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”

The first St. Margaret’s Middle School play of the school year is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe from the story by C. S. Lewis. The cast will feature 40 students in grades 6, 7 and 8 and is directed by Upper and Middle School Drama Teacher and Director Nathan Wheeler. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will be performed November 2 at 7 p.m. and November 3 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
