Grandparents and Special Friends Spend a Memorable Day with Lower School Students

Last Friday, more than 500 grandparents and special friends came from around the country and as far away as England to participate in a memorable morning of student performances and classroom activities during the cherished annual Grandparents & Special Friends Day.
The day began in the Pasternack Field House where guests enjoyed a catered breakfast and slideshow of photos from throughout the school year. Students Raise Funds to Aid Pacific Marine Mammal Center

From Lower School to Upper School, St. Margaret’s students organized an all-school fundraiser to help the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach. This year, the center rescued a record-high number of seals. Through the combined efforts of the school, the students raised $6,504.62, which is expected to support 13 seal pups from rescue to release including fish and medication.

Headmaster Hurlbut Takes His Final Tartan Trot Lap

The Lower School’s annual Tartan Trot, themed “Take the Final Lap with Mr. Hurlbut” in honor of the Headmaster’s last year at St. Margaret’s, filled the Tartan Field with enthusiastic students, teachers and staff on April 19.
It was a beautiful warm day as the students entered the field through the Tartan tunnel and proceeded to line up in front of the bleachers where house league captains led the students in warm ups. Students were released to the track and away they went with much determination …

Spring Concerts Fill the Performing Arts Center with Music
