As we approach the end of the calendar year, I am pleased to provide you with an update on the Building on the Promise campaign.
As reported earlier this year, the construction of the Performing Arts Center was concluded on time and on budget. Giving feels good, especially during this time of year, and it’s even tax deductible!*
Giving to the Annual Fund is one of the most important steps you can take in support of St. Margaret’s. Every gift makes a difference where it’s most important: in the classroom. Every child benefits from your support.
Through giving, you reaffirm your commitment to our mission and partner with us in investing in our students’ education. And if that weren’t enough, your gifts help the school leverage other gifts from foundations that …

Our seat sponsorship email generated a lot of attention! To date, almost 50 percent of the seats in the Marcus D. Hurlbut Theater have been selected.
There are several different levels of sponsorship still available, offering a great opportunity to leave a permanent mark on our campus, honor your child, or leave a lasting show of gratitude for a special faculty member.
For information on seat availability, please contact us at advancement@smes.org, or visit the Advancement Office.

Thank you to everyone who has already made a gift to the Annual Fund this year. We are past the $400,000 mark and going strong!

With the help of our faculty, 100 percent of whom already have pledged their support this year, we are off to a spectacular start. We hope their commitment will inspire others to follow their lead and participate in this important effort.
With that in mind, here are the top ten reasons to support the Annual Fund:
1. You believe in investing in motivated students and know that one St. Margaret’s student can positively impact the lives of thousands.
2. You know that great teachers make a great school and believe …

Our faculty had just returned from a well-deserved summer break when a challenge was issued by Lower and Middle School Principal and St. Margaret’s alumna Jeannine Clarke to reach 100 percent participation within one week, before the start of school.
Spurred by the challenge, a healthy competitive and generous spirit and their commitment to the Annual Fund and St. Margaret’s, our Preschool, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School captains took on this challenge and rose to it.
They gave 100 percent of their energy to inspire …

The end of the school year is almost here, and we want to thank the parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff who have already participated in this year’s Annual Fund. Thanks to your support, we have raised more than $1 million and closing in on our goal!
As the Annual Fund comes to a close, we look at one important number – parent participation. As a school, we have significantly fewer supporters than large charities and higher education institutions, so every gift at every level is especially important. Participation is also …
