Rebecca Cooper, a California licensed therapist, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and the founder of Rebecca’s House Eating Disorder Treatment Programs™ will speak to parents of Preschool through grade 12 girls about body image influences starting at an early age; how the media, peer influence, low self-esteem and bullying affect eating disorders; signs and symptoms of eating disorders; why different foods affect people differently; and, treatment for eating disorders.
