2009-2010 Enrollment Update

Reenrollment contracts for the 2009-2010 school year were mailed February 9 and due February 23.  The response from current St. Margaret’s families was strong with a return rate of 96 percent.  “We are very encouraged by the enrollment response,” said Director of Admission & Financial Aid Ryan Dahlem.  “Even in these challenging economic times, families are placing a clear priority on their children’s education – and a St. Margaret’s education in particular.”

On March 10, St. Margaret’s hosted an American Red Cross blood drive, and the results were terrific. Thirty units of life-saving blood were donated, to help save up to 90 lives!
Thank you to all of the Upper School students who overcame their jitters and donated blood. There were more than ever before.

The St. Margaret’s community is coming together to donate canned food and other items to help members of our community who are in need to celebrate St. Joseph’s Day. This food will help support Serra’s Pantry Food Bank here in San Juan Capistrano. Our school-wide drive will take place March 16-20. We will be joining several schools in our area to create the largest food drive in the history of Serra’s Pantry. The following is a list of requested items by grade. Children of Eden, the Upper School spring performance, is a two-act musical play with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell and Pippin), based on a book by John Caird. The musical is loosely based on the Book of Genesis, but it is a story of parents and children without a specifically religious point-of-view. Rated PG. Tickets on sale now.
