I-5/Ortega Interchange Bridge Lane Reductions May 28

The following is an update from Caltrans alerting our community that major lane reductions at the I-5/Ortega Bridge will begin the evening of May 28. We are sensitive to the inherent uncertainty and stress this traffic change will bring each of us as we commute to and from school each day. Here at Breakthrough SJC we are busy planning our upcoming summer! Breakthrough has a unique mission in that it not only serves highly motivated, low-income students on their path to college but also inspires excellent high school and college students to pursue careers in education. Our “students serving students” model allows us to provide our middle school students with positive, hardworking college-aged mentors.

The St. Margaret’s Episcopal School Library will be closed for renovation this summer. All Library items are due back by Tuesday, May 28. The Library will be closed to parents and students beginning May 29 and will reopen on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 28.

Moms In Prayer, a Christian prayer group, would like to welcome you to join in prayer and fellowship every Thursday morning after drop off in Room 31, located directly across from the St. Margaret’s Church Office. The group of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School moms gathers until about 9:15 a.m. to pray for the St. Margaret’s community including students, families, alumni, teachers, staff and the administration. They also pray for any special intentions they receive through their email link.
