St. Margaret’s Library Renovations are Underway!

4 June 2013 admin 3,197 views No Comment Email This Post Email This Post Print This Post Print This Post

This summer the St. Margaret’s Library will be completely renovated and updated with new carpet, new furniture, new spaces, new technology, new teaching and learning opportunities! Visit the Library website regularly to read about the process and see pictures.

We would like to thank the generosity of our Parent Teacher Fellowship and parents for the funding of this project. This new common learning space will serve to inspire and facilitate a variety of learning for all St. Margaret’s Episcopal School students.

Also, a special thank you to St. Margaret’s parent David Weaver for his generous work on the architectural design, and to parents Lisa Thompson and Dominique O’Donnell for their generous work on interior design.

The new Library will be open on the first day of the 2013-2014 school year. Be sure to check us out!

Want to help with the library remodel? It will take a lot of effort to put more than 38,000 books back on the shelf (in Dewey order!). We will be starting this process mid to late August. If you would like to help, please email Director of Library and Media Center Darla Magana at dmagana@smes.org.
