Just when the end of the year stress starts to creep in…clowns to the rescue! Two of the Early Childhood Development Center teachers, Lore Fredette and Shelley Harmon, put on a mime show last Friday to rival Cirque du Soleil. So as not to frighten the children, the teachers started out in their regular clothes and slowly added clown garb and makeup. Complete with hula hoops, tight rope (balance beam), funny cars (decorated tricycles), buckets of water and whipped cream pies, this clown show mesmerized the preschoolers for 30 minutes.
