Our students will be traveling the world this summer! From England to Vienna to China, from Peru to Hawaii; our students will experience culture, history and traditions from around the globe. Registration and information meetings are already under way. View the information below and join us on one of our summer expeditions.

MACHU PICCHU & BEYOND: Travel with us to Peru, a multi-ethnic country. Explore the melting pot that has created a variety of expressions in art, literature and music. It was home to two of the great ancient civilizations, and while it now boasts modern urban centers like Cusco, in many of the small villages the old ways have been preserved and are respected throughout the country. A trip to Peru is more than a visit; for many, the experience is life-changing.

INSIDER’S CHINA: Discover China as we immerse ourselves in the culture, history and language of this ancient nation. Sites include: Beijing tour, Temple of Heaven, Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Terra Cotta Warriors, Reed Flute Cave, and the Yu Yuan Garden. We will also experience Taiji exercises, Peking duck, Kung Fu lessons, bamboo rafting, bicycle tour, traditional tea, school cultural exchange, Chinese acrobatic show and two eco-projects.

HAWAIIAN HISTORY: Spend a week in Oahu visiting historical heritage sites and learning more about America’s first imperial adventure. Today many view the Hawaiian Islands as simply beautiful beaches and comfortable resorts. But do you know how it came to be a state? Were you aware of the royal family whose authority was displaced? How about the way the island inhabitants were treated by the American whalers, missionaries and sugar planters starting in the 1700’s? Come with us to one of the most beautiful places on Earth and peel back the curtain to experience a part of its tumultuous past.

EXPLORING ENGLAND: From the Harry Potter Studio Tour to Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon; from Austen to Chaucer to Dickens to Sherlock Holmes, travelers will experience the places that influenced England’s greatest writers and that appear in their timeless stories.

VIENNA & MODEL UNITED NATIONS: As an integral part of our summer international relations course, students will travel to Vienna and spend several days exploring the history, culture and art of Austria’s capital before participating in the Model United Nations program the following week.
