Jonathan Li Represents SMES in Nation’s Premier High School Science Competition

Johnny LiOn October 22, Jonathan Li was announced as a semifinalist in the prestigious 2010-2011 Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology, the nation’s premier science research competition for high school students.

The Siemens Foundation announced the semifinalists and regional finalists of the competition, revealing the brightest high school minds in contention for the nation’s most coveted teen science prize. The Siemens Competition is administered annually by the College Board, and awards college scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $100,000 in individual and team categories. More than 2,000 students registered to enter the Competition this year for a record number of 1,372 projects submitted. Three hundred and twelve students were named semifinalists and 94 were named regional finalists, representing 36 states.
