Have you thought about adding to your repertoire of dance moves, but never took time to do it? Does “Foxtrot” conjure up images of furry creatures scurrying down mountain trails? Does “Swing” bring back childhood memories of a backyard playset?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions (or even if you answered “no”), you are just the right person to join the fun on Saturday, February 6 to learn some historic dance moves. Step out for the afternoon and enjoy this complimentary dance lesson with other parents, faculty and staff, 3-4:30 p.m. in the Campaigne Center. Taught by Matt Gregory, of South Coast Danceport, dancers of any skill level are invited to learn the popular dances of the 1930s, including the Foxtrot, the Waltz and the Swing.

There is no charge for this lesson, and it is a great opportunity to learn, get some exercise and impress with your dancing savvy! This class will also help you get ready for Club 30, the PTF Spring Fundraiser, on February 27, at the St. Regis Resort.

Please RSVP by February 5 to Nina Rietsch at nina.rietsch@smes.org or call 949-661-0108, ext. 312.

At Club 30, in addition to the sounds and dances of the 30s, you can enjoy dancing as you did in the 70s, 80s or 90s. You will be able to enjoy a wide range of music and entertainment at Club 30, as the Wayne Foster Band captivates you and invites you to keep on dancing!

Whether you Foxtrot, Swing, or have your own dance moves, come prepared to move your feet and smile at the dance lessons, and at Club 30. It is time to celebrate!
