Dear Parents,

Thank you for helping us to keep our campus healthy.  We appreciate your partnership in monitoring your child’s health, keeping them home when necessary and communicating with us.

As of yesterday, 20 confirmed or probable H1N1 (swine) flu cases were reported in Orange County.  None of these cases were hospitalized and there have been no deaths.  Based on the new guidance from the CDC, schools with confirmed or probable cases will NOT be closed unless, “there is a magnitude of absenteeism that interferes with the school’s ability to function.”

We continue to monitor each division’s absences and we will notify you if there are any significant increases.
